Prada Sport Two-Tone Anthracite Wool Midi Skirt Y2K
Couldn't load pickup availability
Prada Sport midi skirt from the early 2000s, made of a compact fabric with a high virgin wool content, very dark anthracite color with a contrasting medium gray band at the hem.
The design has a more interesting construction than it appears at first glance: on the front, the fabric forms an overlapping panel, almost a wrap-around effect, with a slit and several edges intentionally left raw-cut. This is a typical detail of certain Prada pieces from those years, where the garment's construction becomes part of the design without the need for obvious logos.
The line remains clean and quite slim, with a knee-length. The contrast between anthracite and gray makes the geometry of the hem visible without making the garment heavy.
It is a less immediately recognizable Prada Sport than the more technical nylon models, but interesting precisely for its more minimal and experimental side.
Period
Autumn/Winter, early 2000s. Approximately 2001–2004.
The transparent Prada Sport main label with red detail and the type of composition label are consistent with the first phase of the line.

There are some threads and edges with a frayed appearance also linked to the particular raw-cut construction of the model, therefore largely intentional and part of the garment's original design.
A note on the model
This is a Prada Sport to observe in detail. It does not have large logos, cargo pockets, or immediately recognizable elements, but it works on the fabric construction, layering, and unfinished edges.
It is the type of garment that well represents the more minimal side of Prada in the early 2000s.
