Jacob Cohën was founded in 1985 by the Bardelle family with the idea of elevating denim to a higher level.
This shirt comes from that world, but in a totally lived-in form. It is not a clean, perfect archive piece. It is genuinely used denim, with marks, small stains, obvious wear, and a much rougher presence. Size L, with the oversized fit typical of the 90s. Worn condition. It shows wear, signs of age, stains, and worn details visible in the photos.
If you like impeccable denim, this is not the right piece. However, if you like denim that shows its age, that has taken shape through use, and that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not, then its value lies precisely there. It's a shirt to be seen more as an object with history than as a "beautiful" garment in the conventional sense. A collector's item.
